It is always very humbling for me to receive such great feedback like the email below. Jeremy Mills has successfully transformed his physique into areal-life Avenger! Although I get numerous messages telling of successes and gratitude, Jeremy’s stuck out to me as something I felt I needed to pass on and let others see.
Again, a truly humbling message and, as always, I am here to answer any questions and look forward everyday to here from successful people like Jeremy.
So, for now I will shut up and let Jeremy tell his story:
Brad,
I really feel like I built an Avengers Physique, not too far from Jeremy Renner’s! Attached are the pictures after finishing the Avengers Workout for the 2nd time yesterday!
I also put together a Before and After showing before, after the 1st, and after the 2nd. A few extras are also attached from post workout pump!
I can’t say thanks enough! Had I not read your articles and followed your advice I would have never of gotten here!

The stats overall:
| Start | End 1st | End 2nd | ||
| Weight(Lbs) | 159 | 149 | 142 | |
| Waist @ Naval(in) | 34 | 31 | 29 | |
| BMI(Using Navy Calculation %) | 20 | 13 | 9 | |
| % Difference from Start BMI | 0.00% | 35.00% | 55.00% | |
I used the Navy BMI calculation throughout. How accurate is it?
I really appreciate M&S and writers such as yourself. You all really have a passion for what you do and I really appreciate you sharing that!
I never in a million years thought I’d ever have a six pack. Growing up I was very overweight (245 and 5’4 at my worst) it wasn’t until I was 18 that I shed some weight and slimmed down but have always been “fat skinny” ever since. I got into working out this past Spring and was doing what you describe in your blog as all the WRONG things. I was only working targeted exercises and my workout intensity looking back was a joke. Couple that with listening to broscience and I wasn’t getting anywhere. On a vacation trip I talked to a buddy that has a great physique and I asked for his advice. He recommended A) Working on a physique versus how much I can lift and B) checkout M&S.
Jeremy’s before and after transformation
When I read your Avengers Workout and then your site it really appealed to me as an Engineering student. I thought here’s a guy who looks great, uses real science, and is a BA who beat down cancer. So, I told to my wife that I wanted to do the routine/diet and I needed her on board. Being the amazing lady that she is, I had her support throughout. I used so much of your information from your blog during the whole process. The Nutrition information, motivation, etc you post made it so easy! The other day someone at the gym complimented me on my six pack and asked how long did it take and what exercises to do. I replied, that it took a lot of hard work and nutrition was the largest key. I referred them to M&S, the WorkoutLab, and told them to always keep pushing. In the gym I now live for the face shown in HungryShirtPythons, its the face that I make when my muscles are burning and my brain is saying quit! Though, somehow I push through that and I get one more rep!

THANK YOU so much, man! My favorite cheat day item is an ice cold beer from Sweetwater brewing here in Atlanta. I’m not sure if you enjoy the occasional beer but I’d love to send you a sampler as a thank you.
Now I’m going to start constructing my own diet and I think I’ll tackle “Insane Like Bane” next!

Congratulations on the great work! I feel like i’m following in your footsteps, i have always been heavy and i am now 18 and have lost over 50 pounds so far. I am also a prospective engineering student! As of now i’m skinny fat and i think i’m going to start this program. I was wondering how closely you stuck to the diet plan and did you do any extra cardio?
Thanks,
nick
Nick congrats to you and the lost poundage!
Diet:
I stuck to the diet 100% in order to achieve optimal results. I eventually started to make adjustments to see what works and what doesn’t for me. Also, when you stick to it 100% for an extended period of time you’ll establish a habit. Also, be sure to cheat in moderation. Don’t binge and kill a whole pizza….. Just follow Brad’s recommendations on the diet and you’ll be sure to reap the rewards.
Routine:
I didn’t do any cardio. I simply followed the routine and diet. Brad designed the routine and diet to maximize results.
Congrats on your choice to pursue engineering! Engineering like your weight loss/physique goals is a hard long path. However, I guarantee you that the rewards you’ll reap are totally worth it! Be sure to read more of Brad’s articles for knowledge and inspiration! Empower yourself and you’ll not just be another guy mindlessly exercising. You’ll be that guy in the gym who’s training to reach a goal!
Post anytime with questions and good luck!
